Staffing

Staff:   The CRR staff is composed of mature young adults dedicated to serving the camp children (campers) through the purposes and philosophies of the Circle R Ranch. 

Staff are selected for their personal character, morals and skills in all aspects of our ranch program. Ratio of staff to camper is 1 to 6.

Please note that all jobs require a high school diploma. Staff must be at least 19 years of
age and a reference/background check will be performed on everyone.

If you are not a United States Citizen, you must have a J-1 Visa to work at Circle R Ranch.

Working at the Circle R Ranch
The Circle R Ranch is a Western horse camp that houses 125 campers, ages 7 to 16 every week throughout the summer (June- August)

The Circle R Ranch provides a work atmosphere that is based on collaborative problem solving and team effort concepts. All staff employees interact and work on numerous duties and activities.

Duties include interacting with campers and leading / assisting with daily activities, co-guiding daily trail rides, living in a dorm like situation with campers and other staff, and also assisting with numerous chores as needed around the ranch

Must be at least 18 and have a high school diploma. Experience preferred but not necessary We will train the right individual.

Compensation includes Room and Board plus Wage. Camp season runs from the beginning of June through the end of August.

The casual but professional fast paced environment allows staff to work freely, up close with campers and other staff. The hours are very long and hard, but rewarding meeting and working with young people.

The Circle R Ranch is Located in beautiful central Minnesota, 15 miles west of Little falls or 9 miles east of Long Prairie on Highway 27. 
The Ranch is set in a country setting surrounded by lakes, hillsides and trees. Local cities, Long Prairie, Little Falls are located within a short driving distance. Others major city areas like St. Cloud, Minneapolis are just several hours away.
