Counselor / Assistanc Counselor

-The CRR counselor is a mature young adults dedicated to serving the camp children through the purposes and philosophies of the Circle R Ranch. | |

The CRR counselor needs to have a good understanding of camp operations and horse knowledge. The counselor needs to be able to work with all levels of children and communicate effectively with camp staff and administration. | |

Junior Camp Counselors

-Positions available
depends on the amount of room open a given week. -This position is on a first come, first serve basis and will require a weekend of training before camp starts. -This position is for those who are interested in becoming staff in the future. Junior Counselors are 17 years of age (too old to be a camper and too young to be a counselor) and this is a volunteer position. Junior Counselors stay at the ranch for a minimum of 1 week learning ranch operations and assisting staff with their duties. |

health at the ranch. -Help vet when called. -Administer medications and treatments to horses and other animals. -Most other regular Counselor duties apply. |

Applicants will be detail orientated as this position includes record keeping. Applicants will also express working knowledge of horses and horse behavior. We will train for this position however, previous knowledge of horse care is preferred. This is the perfect position for those who plan to enter into veterinary science! | |
